I have always loved any kind of art. I was always drawing some happy little creature of some sort. I can also sew up a storm, or at least I did when I had more time. In junior high school, I won the top sewing awards in 8th and 9th grades. I sewed everything I wore. Now I sew more crafts than clothes.

I grew up in Kearns, Utah. I am the youngest of four children. I have two sisters, Carol and Sandra, and one brother, Wayne. I was blessed with wonderful parents, Bob and Verona Balle, who have been great examples throughout my life. Though my father passed away nearly 24 years ago, His example and memory are always with me.

After I was married and began having children, the need for some personal time and growth became important for my sanity. I decided to take a tole painting class. Life has never been the same since! That may sound funny, but it's true. I even learned to cut and prepare my own wood after my husband bought me a band saw and tools for Mother's Day one year. I even put the band saw together myself! I painted and painted and painted.

Work relocated us to Reno, Nevada. I began to teach painting classes for a little extra income and to design my own projects. I sold my work at a country furniture and gift shop. I grew so much from that experience. Some time later we returned to Utah, where I continued my designing, painting, and selling. People that would buy my work encouraged me to publish my designs.

I took my designs to Provo Craft. My opportunities there were just beginning! They began to publish my designs in painting instruction books. My most popular being the "Bearing All Seasons" books, which is where my company name originates. I have had other books and combined artist books that were published. It didn't stop there! I have had the opportunity to design plush, figurines, scrapbook papers, stickers, rub-ons, CD's, and more.

I enjoy designing clipart for pccrafter.com as well.  Now I am publishing my own books and pattern packets!  I am enjoying my little growing business so much! I have met, emailed, and talked with so many wonderful women who love painting as much as I do!  You are all wonderful!  Thank you for keeping me going!

Aren't my grandbabies so cute?!!!!!! (I'll update this picture soon)

The most important thing in my life isn't my love for painting and designing (big shocker huh!), but for my family;

My husband, Jeff, who is the love of my life, and my best friend for over twenty-seven years.

Nine beautiful children, three wonderful son-in-laws, and almost six darling grandchildren!  Kaylee, Jimmy, Angel, Savanna, Baylee, and in July a new baby boy, son of Ben and Mindy is expected!

Our oldest daughter, Becky (26) and her husband Jim, who are Jimmy's (3) mom and dad.

Angie(24) and her husband Coley, who are Kaylee's (3), Angel's (2), and Baylee's (10 months) mom and dad.

Mindy (23) and her husband Ben, who are Savanna's (2) mom and dad.

Tyler (20) is serving a mission for our church in the Milon, Italy mission. He plays the piano, saxophone, harmonica, and loves the accordian!  He really wants to do animation for the movies.  He is very artistic and I am sure he will accomplish much!

Cody (17) is a Senior at Lehi High School.  He plays the piano very well, and loves to draw!

Shana (15) is in the 10th grade at Lehi High School.  She enjoys hanging out with her friends and playing her violin and piano.  She is a good helper for her mom!

Kelsee (13) is in the 8th grade at  Lehi Jr.High School.  She enjoys playing her violin and piano and spending time shopping with anybody that will take her!

Matthew (10) is in the 5th grade at Freedom Elementry.  He loves playing on the computer, putting together roller coasters, and hanging out with his buddy Aaron.

Levi (6) is my buddy and my baby!  He will be in the 1st grade at Freedom Elementry!  He loves to play on the computer and play Nintendo. He loves to go to Wendy's and McDonalds with his mom! He use to like to go everywhere with his mom, but he is growing up and likes playing with his friends better! I guess he isn't my baby anymore!

Being back in school has been a great challenge for me! I have  five classes left for my degree in graphic design.  I am returning to UVSC this fall full time and should finish my final class in the spring. I am hoping to use my new found skills soon. School has been difficult at times but very fulfilling for me.

Life is busy but wonderful!  Making time to be with this special family is my greatest priority.  I am so thankful for their help and encouragement in all I do.

I hope that as you experience this website that you will find something that will make you SMILE!
